Ran out of ideas! is this really male pattern baldness?

I really need some opinions about my case any thought is usefull so please feel free to post your opinion.


I've been taking finasteride "proscar" 1,25mg for at least 3 years and to be honest i don't think it did much, my hair has never stoped falling nor did i noticed a decrease in hair loss as the time passed....


I've tryed alot of topical solutions including minoxidil and with all of them the same thing happened... my hair started to fall even more on first or second aplication "i know it sounds wierd" so i always quit.

All this makes me wonder if i am trying to treat a condition that i dont have... so i've always been open minded about other theories.
One thing i know is that my diet really makes a diference, the healthier i eat the better my scalp and hair are. :roll:

SLD, any effective treatment that you try for your hairloss can produce shedding. This sounds like what you have experienced with what you've tried so far. No, it doesn't sound weird, it just comes with the territory

well but doesnt the shedding usually take months to start? what i experienced was after 1 or 2 aplications...
