I was reading Dr Demirsoy's website, he mentions dense packing, ideal for people with thick/curly/wavy hair, which you have and I also have.

Was dense packing an option for you, or is this dense packing already the procedure you had?
I don't know about the exact density I've received and what qualifies as a "dense packing" tbh. I think somebody might be able to tell from the post-op pics. Things keep improving but I can't tell about the final result yet it could pretty much stop there and be below average/mediocre or keep thickening growing and be great.

Very low price indeed, surprisingly low! My surgeon has big ups and downs to be fair. Like I said earlier in the thread, I needed it NOW so I took the plunge with him, if things go well, I'll have a lot of money left for other cosmetic procedures(fillers, teeth whitening, laser hair removal...)

I sure will! Thank you!

No, turn your life around and BELIEVE IN JESUS.

Hmm.. Demirsoy charged 1 euro per graft a couple years ago, crazy cheap. Is he known for a high turnover in nurses / technicians? Would hate to rock up & you get a noob whos just started a week ago

There are some much cheaper Turkish clinics who seem to do just fine. Check out Dr. Cinik.

Gotta admit one of the techs/nurses seemed a lot less focused than the others and it still worries me because her side is one of my lagging areas(but it seems to be catching up).

Did you check out alopezie.de? Dr.Demirsoy's patients post a lot of reports there, it's in German though.

Just checked Dr. Cinik's site, not many before/afters, all NW4+ , though noticed this price

"All inclusive FUE 4000-5000 graft hair transplant 1990 €" - That's great value. Though I would only need around 2000 grafts.

There are many low-cost clinics such as Cinik's, but from what I've seen they deliver decent results unlike many of those mills. You've also got Dr.Maral, he does a good job at moving hair for 2100 euros but his techs will butcher your donor area.

Demirsoy can do much better but it doesn't always happen.

And again, the top names don't always deliver either.

Still 6 months ahead to improve, good luck!

Just one thing, I can see grafts with two hair on the very first line which is not very common cause it does not look like natural.
Your hair seems to have excellent properties, curly and thick.

I hope it will still improve for a few months, there's a lot of negativity on the German board I also post on, with posters saying 6 months is pretty much the final result and that the pretended year-mark is a fraud to keep unhappy patients at bay for a longer time. With some research, it appears things are quite complicated, in general the spectacular improvements stop after let's say 8-9 months but some patients do stop seeing results quite early on. I still see it improve, so far so good. But if it doesn't improve significantly by this summer, I'll be quite dissapointed.

About the double grafts: Possibly. I scrutinize it every day and it seems like I've got a few. Surprising since Demirsoy seemed to know his sh*t about graft placement. I don't really care tbh since I will always comb it forward and have locks covering my hairline.

That's the other part of the plan. My hair will not stay curly. I want straight or wavy hair as much as I want my hair transplant to improve(actually want it more). I hate my nappy, frizzy texture. I think I'm going to go with a L'Oréal Xtenso treatement at 13-14 months when I'm sure the final result can be appreciated and when I have a little bit of length to apply this treatment away from the scalp. I know those chemicals can cause some hair loss so this is going to be done with caution and after research, but I will go through with it without a doubt.

I already use Kerastase Sulfate-free shampoo, and the conditionning mask. I'm afraid the conditionning mask will make my scalp too oily and clog the follicles so I don't go over once a week. Will use cleansing conditionner instead of shampoo soon. The transplant is only step one, then comes the battle for smooth, manageable locks.

bro you will have great result ! i want so bad to do a hair transplant ; But my hairloss is not stabilized at 23 ( almost 24) , despite using propecia and minoxidil . if i have to wait until my 30 with this f*****g regimen , on a daily basis before doing a transplant i will turn crazy . Each day examining my hair and the recession .

You are on finasteride and minoxidil, although not perfectly stable, you could get a moderate amount of grafts placed at the front to frame your face, depending on your current stage. You also need to save a lot of money unfortunately. I've been able to afford it comfortably because of a weekend job(bouncer) I've kept for 5 years. Don't rush things, plan it already.

I joint this forum to get to know more about other doctors, honestly this is the very first time I heard of Demirsoy. I'm on the research of a good doctor and I have seen dozens of cases, I can ensure most of them improve beyond a year so just be patience. 3200 UFs for that area should give a very good density.
This is more or less what I expect from your case, similar area and grafts: https://www.recuperarelpelo.com/foro/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=64584

Looking forward to read your next updates.

Well even if your hairloss has not stabilized, as long as you're not past NW4 you can still get a transplant and not have to worry for 2-5 years depending on how aggressive your alopecia is, then when you need a touch up hopefully by this time another treatment is available.

Michel, you should start looking for the best doctor for your case. No cure is coming. At 24 I was just stabilized at Norwood 2.5 but I lost ground between 25 and 26 due to a chaotic lifestyle that made me quit minoxidil and skip finasteride for weeks. I also enjoyed harsh chemical straightening.
I was also hearing about a cure coming in "five years". Forget it.

If you are simply receding get a small hair transplant at the front at someone who knows how to make use of a moderate amount of grafts. Keser, Feriduni or maybe De REys.

If you are diffusing all over go to Koray Erdogan and get 4000 grafts. You will rely on touch ups but maintain a decent head of hair for the rest of your days.

I regret spending my twenties as a scared balding young man. Nip this sh*t in the bud.

I would love to get that level of success. Dr Lupanzula (medikemos) is one of the top guys in Europe. Demirsoy can really do well for a much smaller price and I will feel incredibly blessed if my result is on par with what the big names produce.

I still see it improve but it needs to last.

Absolutely this is where I'm headed genetically. I will rely on dermmatch and a new hair transplant in ten years and maybe SMP to conceal the thinning areas. BHT too. I probably will never be labeled as "the bald guy" ever, which is a victory but I can't tell if I'll be able to pull off beast hair styles either. We'll see soon.
