Meh, he still looks good and will look fine with a shaved head. The most depressing "transformation" for me goes to Kelly Slater.

He does still look good as well and women love him but his looks took a huge hit with baldness.

you mean Bert Mccracken? he's balding as well but not as badly as Allman, hes about at Norwood 3. and he obviously wasn't a Norwood 1 even back when the band first started out. i wonder if he got on propecia while Allman didn't. ha ha how unlucky can one band be in terms of hair genes? the drummer and bassist have better hair than the singer and guitarist..

allman used to be handsome, now he reminds me of randy from My Name is Earl, hell maybe not even that, at least randy had some frontal hair.

I like how you completely gloss over the '20 yrs apart' aspect as if that has no influence or anything lol .. hold on, I'm gonna post a picture of me at 16 with a full head of hair and me now 20 yrs later balding so you can see the 'dramatic difference' that balding solely made .. nevermind the aging of the face/skin etc .. the guy's in his mid to late 20s in that first picture .. he's almost 50 in the 2nd .. the guy looks old because he .. got old .. his skin aged .. the baldness and beard just accentuate it

he looks 'young' with the hair but then again he is younger there .. he's older now.. one of my main issues with the whole baldness thing is having 'uneven' hair .. bald patches etc which I feel makes you look like crap .. which is why I feel much better after I shave .. everything evens back up .. he should trim down the hair he has left .. having that hair with the missing patch up front up top is making him look older

I saw some thread by macimate on pua lamenting the fact that he's not young anymore and how he yearns to be a child again .. slowly but surely it comes out eventually

I got compared to Bert McCracken a couple of years ago, not a compliment! He must be on finasteride though, as his hairline was pretty receded in the Taste Of Ink video, and that's an ooooooold song!

and yes, i think our suspicions are correct. taste of ink came out 10 years ago, he was a Norwood 2 or 2,5 at the time and since then he has only lost 1 Norwood.

btw i think their self titled album is the only that's worth anyones time.

Well I didn't say it didn't have any influence or imply it, hence adding "although." He was just the first that came to mind. He was significantly balding by the time Kurt Cobain died as well and lost all of his hair by the late 90's. The other guys shown on this page were aged significantly just by being bald as I don't see any changes in their faces such as wrinkles. It does add some years to your look.

At first I thought this thread was straight from PUAhate. Would not be surprised if that is a wig. It looks like one. You never know. If he put on a wig that looks just like in the photo then he would not look as old. Someone should photoshop his previous hair with a recent photo and see then how he looks.

dh, why would that be a wig? that pic was taken many years ago, do you think he's always been bald?

and as we can observe his hair is combed forward and bleached (a style he implemented from the very begining, presumably due to lack of other options, he needed to hide his hair line), that should give us an idea what was going on as early as then.
