This is what happens when a pretty boy goes bald. It hits them the hardest. I should know, I used to be one.

What really hits me about these photos of Quinn Allman is that this type of hairloss that I sometimes refer to as "Robocop type balding" (you know, Robocop without face shield) makes the affected ones look very similiar. It becomes such a distinct feature... if you look at the last frame of that animated gif when Allman turns his head right, well at first glance you're basically looking at me.

I've noticed this a few years ago, my roommates managed to quit smoking and asked me to smoke outside, no problem, it was May or June. So I'm outside this appartment block with a cowboy killer in my hand and there's this family walking down the other side of the street. Suddenly two women point their fingers at me, just because this dude with them was balding in the same way. No chance they could see details of my face, we were about 25-30 metres apart. But for them it was enough to assume we look alike.

Currently I work with this idiot that has similiar hairloss situation (his is worse). There were countless incidents when customers or employees took me for this guy or asked me if he was my brother. That happens despite our faces being completely different. I can't help reacting to these comments badly and may get suspended eventually.

Luckily it's only 10 more months till my new job and a salary that would allow my situation to be fixed within 2-3 years.

Very true! I think I took exception as a norwood spotter, it's obvious that's something is wrong with Bert's hair, despite the comb forward. It felt like I was being "outed" plus the guys was a bit of a d!ck as well!

mmm lost about 4 points.... i feel as if that what happened to me with baldness. (wasnt as good looking as he was the first place, but i also lost about 4 points... which is more dramatic in my case)
i think UM said it best, the "pritty boys" (appose to the rough looknig ones like vin Diesel/Statham/Bruce Willis) get hit the hardest with hair loss.

its a shame.

male pattern baldness is such a grotesque destructive force that can't be fkd with, it knows no mercy and destroys everything wonderful in it's path.
you take your chances with it, you loose, you die (figuratively). it claims your hair, your youth, your soul and leaves nothing behind but remains of devastation.

I don't think to the untrained Norwood spotter that anyone would see much up with Bert's hair.

and ur own super awareness of recession, which most of the time isnt noticeable whatsoever and vast majority dont even think of as actual hair loss

moderately well. ive been on rogaine for 9 months now and finasteride for about 2 months. im not assessing anything until like february, when i will have been on finasteride for 4 months. which is the average time it takes to start regrowing if u do regrow

I've heard with finasteride, it's usually around 12 months. I think that's when I started noticing some improvements.

I understand dude. Some people it takes less time. I guess hair length etc can make a difference too.

i wud grow my hair longer its just i firmly believe the best possible option for diffusing its buzz it as short as possible (if u dont wanna slick shave it)

also more difficult to put on rogaine with longer hair
