Does anyone know of any reactions of finasteride with anti-depressants? I have been on Lexapro 20mg and Wellbutrin 300 mg for quite a while. Considering finasteride.

Don't know of any reactions. You should be fine.

Let me recommend something in place of those anti depressants you're taking. There is a product called SAM-E. It is sold over the counter. It is a natural anti depressant that works better than every prescription anti depressant, and without ANY side effects. That's just something you may want to look into. :)

Thanks, man. SAM-E, huh? Sounds very appealing. What's in it? I've never heard of it. Do you know people with experience with it?

I take it myself. It has been used in Europe for more than 30 years, and in Italy is prescribed more than Prozac etc. In Europe, it is a prescribed medication, but we get it over the counter in America. :) The one and only drawback to it, is that it is expensive. But, go to Costco. They have the best deals on it. 80 pills for $40.

I take it, and it seriously rocks. I would talk to your doctor about it and see what he says. A lot of doctors don't know much about it though.

Do a search on it. There is tons of information. Below is a random link I just found for you.

Mate,

I have been on Aropax for about 4 months now and it has had no negative effects in conjunction with the finasteride.

Whilst I was on finasteride, my sex drive was normal but once on aropax, I have little to no sex drive...dont make the mistake of confusing the two...

best natural alternatives to me are:

Omega-3 in the form of fish oil capsules: no side effect

st John's wort: no side effect except it's makes your skin more sensitive to sun rays, so avoid it in sunny periods

(get more info with google)[/i][/b]
