There is an interesting thought. Anyone read the book ready player one, which presents a technological reality much closer to us than matrix, for example? If new baldness treatments take long enough, will very advanced augmented reality embedded in routine life maybe render a possible cure close to meaningless financially? Hell, if people almost never or never have to fully see their real selves, why bother having hair at all?
