I was thinking...after reading so many regarding baldness...it really worth to spend money on medicines against balding...I am considering just a a little delay if u are lucky...but the disaster will come...It was indeed a big deal if I was taking all the life the drug...and from the moment I took it for the first time I was sure that i'll keep everything for the next 30 years...but just for a simply delay...I don't know...what if i'm not balding now at 20's but I will be at 30's...I was thinking at all this...and I'm really dissapointed...is almost nothing you can do...just a delay...

you call 10-15 years a "simple delay"?

i think we can agree to disagree on that one.

hell, i'd take finasteride even to delay it for 2 years.

it's totally worth it!

for 2 years...c'mon is just delaying my agony...10-15 years it's indeed some good delay...I mean you can even get a hair implant for the areas that it's not happening a regrowth...you could isn't it?

Why are you asking this?

Are you balding for certain? As far as I can tell, for those people who can handle finasteride well and get no sides, 80% maintain for 10+ years.

There are a small percentage, perhaps 10%, that see deterioration at around 5 years, and another 10% that really don't get much in the way of results and start to decline again after 1 year.

The only way you'll know which one you are is to try finasteride (assuming you are, in fact, balding).

I agree, 2 years isn't worth it. 10-15 years can be a big deal as far as maturing, establishing your career, getting a wife, and simply getting used to the idea of losing your hair. But there is the cost of having to take the meds for that long, and I really think that sides can creep up on you over that long of a period of time.

Pisses me off people complaining all the time about finasteride. Dont f*****g take it then!!! No ones forcing you to. But I know guys who've been taking it since the 90's and credit it with allowing them to keep their hair during their 20's and 30's which seems worthwhile to me. Especialy guys who have used it in conjunction with hair transplant's to keep their hair.
WTF is wrong with some people they want nothing less than a perfect solution?
Why bother going to a gym? No matter how hard you try you wont be able to keep the body you had in your 20's forever. Same theory.
