Have you ruled out the obvious?

  • Stress-related or emotional problems.
  • Poor nutrition like inadequate protein or iron in your diet, or poor nourishment in other ways (from fad diets, crash diets, and certain illnesses like eating disorders).
  • Hair treatment chemicals used for dying, tinting, bleaching, straightening, or perming may be used too often or incorrectly, and can cause hair to become damaged and break off.
I don't wanna sound like a complete sob story douche, but I have a little problem socializing (I don't like people for some reason) which I think corilates to me having a little mild depression. Work is kinda stressful, but even before that I had a recession. I'm thinking maybe my diet isn't too good, as it consists of McDonald's, Sometimes Subway, and maybe a home cooked meal every other week. Would all that salty food have any effect on my hair. I don't eat greens as well.

Well don't forget most men lose their juvenile hairline by their 20's. So most of us get a widows peak. So it could just be that. You said your family has large foreheads. I have seen men with hairlines like yours that don't recede beyond their early 20's. So it's anyone's guess. Just stay positive and try not to worry.

Is this a depiction of my hairline. Love Nicolas cage.
No i think @shookwun is laughing at your post. Diet plays little role in hairloss. ( im sure it does help to have good diet ) If you dont want to see a specialist to get a prescription for finasteride buy it online from alldaychemist or inhousepharmacy. Those are two reliable sites.

this is usually good advice but his pattern would be patchy or diffuse. I think the pattern of his loss is clearly male pattern baldness.

I very much agree. My brother has a similar hair type(his being a little longer). The frontal with maybe a little more recession. But he also has a balding spot in the back.

Here is my little update on my hair. after about 4 months on finscar 5mg about 1mg a day and Rogaine. Don't really seeing any big difference in my hair, i have noticed little hairs growing back at my temples. I have seen more growth in my face as i wasn't really able to grow much of a beard. Does anyone see any progress happening?
