I know that I am balding for sure because the density changed from 2019 to 2021 I wasn't sure that I was balding when I made this post so didn't get on finasteride right away. I've maintained for the last 3 and a half years so I know for sure that finasteride is doing it's job.

Yeah it does look much worse in those pictures, in this thread it looked normal, the one you just linked looked like the hairline was starting to thin out, definitely continue with finasteride. Are you doing anything else for hair loss or just finasteride?

Just finasteride, my hairline is usually hidden because I keep the top long because I have a huge *** forehead. The hairline thinned out that much in only 2 years from 2019 to 2021. It's maintained 3.5 years on finasteride. I'd be much worse off right now if I wasn't on finasteride.

Hairline hasn't really changed much, I'm more of a thinner. The middle of my hairline looks like sh*t and you can visibly see miniaturisation. I'm below baseline from when I started finasteride 3.5 yrs ago

So is this new regimen working for you? Your regimen was a disaster for my hair personally lol. Its all about genes and the person.
I think my hair looks thicker, the sides and back have also thickened up but they're still not what they used to be, I hope they get thicker. Doesn't feel like I've lost any ground since changing my regimen but that could just be genetics.

I'm 25 and the men in my family with hair loss don't get it significantly until their 30s. Time will tell if these treatments actually work.

My cousin is 5 years older and has some pretty severe diffuse thinning, he doesn't take any treatments. I think I'd be worse off if I never took anything at all.

Some days it looks worse than others. I checked the back of my head in the mirror today and it looks like sh*t. I'm diffuse thinning on the back and sides and it becomes really noticeable when I haven't washed my hair in a while. Top seems to have maintained after all these years on meds, my loss on the back and sides must not be DHT related.

Bro I wash my hair twice a day. In the morning and in the evening because I apply topical finasteride+min. Need to remove sebum so it penetrates better.

I thought you stopped everything lmao
Im back at it boi despite side effects.
I barely lose hair nowadays ever since I got on oral aspirin which lowers inflammation and thins your blood. Plus topical finasteride+min. Its an insane dfference in hairfall. I lose like 0 to 3 hairs in shower and on brush like 0 to 2. Before I lost alooooot more.

What is your hair like now at 37? I think balding can stabilize on it's own for a few years if it's less aggressive. My dad has been nw3 for like 30 years. I think you're fucked when you have diffuse thinning though.

Yep I do have diffuse but hairline is the same like nw2. Hair has gotten thinner over the years. So I do need treatment.

My hair has never been as thick as that lmao. Even when I was 13 my hair was a bit wispy.
Ever since starting finasteride+min my hair has continued to thin rather fast. Hope it gets better. Been on for like 16 days.

Is the crown thinning? Everything else can easily be hidden but crown thinning is really hard to hide unless you have a dense front and can slick your hair back

Fuk topicals lmao. Going on oral x3 weekly instead. Topical is so annoying for me.
