Receding hairline - will minoxidil help????

Hi - the hair at the front of my hairline has been thinning out for about 5-6 years. Nothing too extreme, but I'm in my early 30s and have decided to take action before it gets worse (crown/top of head is fine). I was going to try minoxidil foam, but I read that it is only intended for use on the crown and not receding hairlines.

Does anyone have experience with minoxidil or other products to tackle a receding hairline?

Many thanks!

Short answer, yes contrary to what the box says, it does help the hairline as well.

Minoxidil can help the hairline but does nothing to combat the root cause of male pattern baldness to see the best results it really needs to be used along side finasteride.

finasteride is finasteride the active ingredient in propecia currently it is the best treatment we have. Do some research on this site also look up the "big 3" this combination of treatments is the most proven way of saving your hair.
