Recession At Back Of Your Head Also?

Been very slowly losing since mid twenties, now in early 40s....have noticed the hairline on the back of my head has moved up about an inch in the past couple years. Not sure if this is just normal aging loss, or male pattern baldness loss as I thought these hairs were immune to male pattern baldness.

Anybody experience the same thing? Not really that I care and truthfully it actually makes my hair look a little more proportional with the loss in front... but just curious.

Your neckline? That’s retrograde alopecia, it’s common.

Don’t think DHT immunity is even a thing, in literature I’ve read, any HF that is subjected to large quantites of androgens will undergo apoptosis.

Yea the neckline. I guess "resistant" would have been a better word than immune, meaning those follicles put up more of a fight.

Yup it’s called Retrograde Alopecia or senile Alopecia. Atleast I take comfort in the fact I don’t think it really ever progresses past the point of mild recession and thinning.
