Same here. Finasteride stopped my hair loss and sebum production.

I tried several shampoos (incl. Nizoral) and topical lotions as well, but they were all useless.

Ok. I have been taking Vitamin B5 for around a week now. It does slightly slow down the sebum production, and my hair appears less greasy a day after washing it. However, I appear to be shedding more, the back of my head is the worst. Also, the crown area still appears to look greasy and thin,

I've also noticed green urine =/
:(

Apparently It means I take an excess of B vitamins...

That looks to be a B complex vitamin, it's probably not very high in B5.
B vitamins will turn pee a fluorscent yellow, but green?

Here's just a minor quibble, which I indulge in only every once in a while: there's no such thing as "B5". That's just a term made up by lay people, it's not used by doctors or scientists or nutritionists. The correct term for that vitamin is indeed "pantothenic acid". I feel that in general, we should stick to the same terms used by the professionals! Similarly, I don't like it when people use the crude term "DHT inhibitor", instead of "5a-reductase inhibitor".

Ugh! Relly annoyed now. Ever since I have been taking those Vitamin B5 I shed more have a more itchy scalp.

All I want is something which will cut down the amount of oil being produced... Makes my hair look so thin...
