Regaine foam new packaging?

I buy a years supply of regaine from lloyds pharmacy so it's been a year since I last ordered.

This is the packaging that I am used to and have always seen:

However on the lloyds website this has changed to:

I checked out other place like boots which all sell the packaging that I am used to. What is up with the one that lloyds is selling? It looks the american rogaine packaging.

It's looks like the Regaine packaging got changed to the American Rogaine one. Obviously of course, the Minoxidil quality should be just as good.

I checked some other big places in the UK and the packaging is the old one. Rogaine and Regaine contain different ingredients. I have tried Rogaine and can tell the difference. There are quite a few threads about this difference. Damn it I hope they haven't changed Regaine.

They both contain Minoxidil but you're right, there is a difference in the foam ingredients. I don't speak from personal experience as I don't use it but my friend buys regaine and occasionally gets the cheaper US rogaine, he said Rogaine foam felt different.

I've used Rogaine foam before in the past and am currently using generic Minoxidil foam from Kirkland. I've used many different generic Minoxidil foam brands and I can definitely tell the difference with some of the foams. Some of the generic foams I've used before seem really dry, while others seem to feel hydrating when I apply to my scalp.

However, in terms of quality of how well Minoxidil works at treating my male pattern baldness from all the different brands I've tried, in my opinion, I think all of them work exactly the same and are equally effective at treating genetic hair loss.

It's not the minoxidil that I'm concerned about. Rogaine left white residue on my scalp. I found Regaine to be a thicker foam and had a much less strong smell to it. The listed ingredients on the foams are different which leads to this difference. I know that the active ingredient minoxidil is the same but that's not the only important factor. Also I'm a*** about sticking with something once I see something is working (as well as minoxidil can lol). But anyway we've digressed a bit, there might be no change to Regaine at all. I don't know how to check though without buying the new packaged one which I can't be asked. I'll just order one of the packaging that I'm used to from a different website.
