Hello all,

I wanted to get the consensus on Regenepure DR shampoo as keto shampoos seem to ruin the quality of my hair..Im wondering if I followed Regenepure DR by their conditioner if this would help. Normally, I used Jasons Jojoba shampoo and that leaves my hair great...Id like to be compliant with Regenepure, but not at the expense of the quality of my hair..Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I love this shampoo BUT i am a woman and have long curly hair and I have to use a quality conditioner or I cant get a comb through my hair due to knotting etc..
There are other keto shampoos if you really dislike this one or just try a conditioner. Don't bother with theres get any conditioner from drug store.
I use Kerastase but you don't need this it's a luxury brand..just use something from Pantene or Granier. Both are quality companies.

Regenepure has a biotin condition that works with the DR with Ketoconazole. Keto does have that drying effect, we all know that but this conditioner does the job and still keep hair somewhat full. Kerastase is good but Pantene in my opinion is like putting car wax on my hair.

I think Keto shampoo is overrated, I was using Revita for almost 2-3 years and recently swapped away from it.

Makes hair really dry and flat, not ideal for diffuse thinners at all. I think switching away could be beneficial to you.

I use Regenepure and actual Jojoba oil afterwards. I wash once or twice a week. After the shower maybe 10 drops of the oil on my hands dabbed into my hair (half towel-dried at this point). Comb it every-which-way with a boar's hair brush (some people here say this stimulates the scalp in a beneficial way. It definitely feels good). Then I dry my hair the rest of the way with a towel and use a sandalwood comb.

You have to be careful with the oil. Very easy to make your hair look greasy. But after it dries the oil seems to accurately mimic your natural oils for a few days. After first application it might get your forehead a little oily. I tend to do this on non-work days

Maybe you should mix the jojoba oil into your Regenepure..You can mix it right in your palm and then shampoo...this may be the most efficient way to apply.

I'm 31 years old and started noticing several months ago that I've been shedding more hair in the shower and that my hair has been breaking off really easy. I thought it was stress but it hasn't stopped. I also have dandruff that has dramatically increased in itch and flakes making my usual head and shoulder worthless. Aside from talking with my doctor, I purchased this set~ the dr, nt, and biotin conditioner. My first wash, I only used the NT and conditioner, it was nice but didn't help much with dandruff. I liked that it didn't dry out my hair and the conditioner is minty and tingly and lovely although not the most softening. So My next wash I used DR and Conditioner it left really bad dandruff or really dry scalp not sure which but it was awful.

so I decided to wash again the very next day. I used the DR then NT then Conditioner. The itching calmed down and the dandruff was lessened BUT my hair was terribly dry and I feared it would break off. Afterwards I put in a ton of leave-in conditioner which helped.

Now for this last wash ( wash 4 ) I put olive oil in my hair before I shampooed to help strengthen my hair for the tough DR shampoo. I used DR, NT, then conditioner while I had the conditioner in my scalp- I mixed in a teaspoon of olive oil with the remaining biotin conditioner left in my hand~ I smoothed it from root to tip then very gently combed it through with a wide tooth comb then rinsed out. My hair~ isn't too dry this time and feels way nicer. I still used a detangler and leave-in conditioner like I normally do bc I have very long
