Regenepure vs. Nizoral?

New to the forum, sorry if this is in the wrong place.

I am about to order some Regenepure (both versions) because the ingredients seem to be much better than Nizoral (Nizoral dries my hair out as well). Anyways, someone mentioned in another thread that the Ketoconazole percentage in Regenepure was less than Nizoral. Is this true?

and is it that bad to have a dry hair? nizoral dries my hair too but i like it because it gives volume to my hair more than other shampoos.

Yeah, I always have used Nizoral but am giving this stuff a shot. Decent looking ingredients and no SLS.

Regenepure DR first and then NT. The instructions
say to do it the other way around.
The NT assures conditioned hair and
makes my hair feel full and gives a nice shine.
It replaces my conditioner.

The ketoconazole in the DR will have a
drying affect. No where near as much as
Nizoral though ;-)

the nourishing treatment. The DR alone
could have a drying effect because of the
Keto. I have thicker hair also and it made
my hair even thicker, even straw like, like you
said, but when I used the NT it was perfect and
softened my hair substantially.
That is why I was asking if you used the NT and
I was right!

I hope it makes it way over to the UK don't want the hassle of buying the shampoo directly with high shipping costs.

Hope it's cheaper than Revita shampoo which i first purchased for £15 and now sells for around £20.

At the moment I mix Nizoral/Revia with a Piroctone Olamine based shampoo, bodyshops ginger anti-dandruff shampoo.

To be honest I wanted to like Revita, but the vibe I got was that it just isn't balanced enough. If you use it with Spectral DNC or minoxidil or something you're probably ok, but use it alone and I think that the ingredients probably have the strength to make the telogen hairs shed, but unless you properly use it every day and leave it on for quite a while, it seems to often not have the strength to grow them back lol

Tons of people reported a lot of shedding on Revita, and I struggled to find people who said it was followed by regrowth lol

I wanted to use a SLS free shampoo that contains "Piroctone Olamine" OR
"Ketoconazole".

I'm UK based so I can use Revita which contains Ketoconazole and SLS free but is very expensive

I'm using Bodyshop ginger anti-dandruff shampoo which when runs out I will switch to Austrialin tea tree shampoo which contains "Piroctone Olamine" but is SLS free and it's much cheaper than revita.

Conclusion Ketoconazole shampoos aint ever gonna be cheap!

Hi Townes,

The website states to use the NT first and then the DR. I actually do the opposite because of the drying effects of the DR. Play around with it and see what your opinion is.
