I think anyone who is that far gone would need meds in addition to a transplant to regain a full head of hair.

Doesn't even look like the same guy to me, at all. Don't you love how they always manage to change the direction of the head during the after shots so you can't see if its the same person? This is supposed to be a clinical trial for a treatment, and they didnt even control the direction of the photos? Cmon.

that looks pretty good to me!

considering he was pretty 'gone'.

why can't these trials just make a head brace with lighting and a camera fixed to the same stucture, you could make one yourself to track your progress pretty cheaply, there is no excuse for the drifting head shots from big companies.

His hair is just longer, the light's different, and the camera angle is back farther than in the original picture. It's an age old trick to make a treatment look like it works a lot better than it really does. I'm not saying that it doesn't look BETTER per se... but it's not as good as it looks.
