Shiseido only has the license to the technology in Asia.
It is up to Replicel and any partner they may have in North America or Europe, etc. to put it through trials and stuff here.

Could not agree more. When there is no treatment, they moan, complain, ect. When there is treatment but have to travel, they also moan, complain, etc.

They need complete clinical trials.
Phase II ones last one to two years and Phase III one to five years.
You can do the math.
For those keep asking for the availability of RCH-01 in the US, here is my simple kindergarten thought.
+ the US trial is damn long, stringent and expensive, so you better wait for 5-10 years in exchange for the travel cost to Japan. Wish you still got some hair by that time.
+ Japanese government has made effort to accelerate / encourage the cell therapy so that it can get into the market much earlier, needless to say, the US can never catch up due to their FDA-barrier, as such, they would expect an increase in foreign patients coming to their country for such treatment => easy money for the Japanese.
So, if you are bald and have 0 or very little balance in your pocket, then either take finasteride or embrace baldness as your destiny. There is no "free lunch" that is fast and cheap.
SO PLEASE STOP ASKING / EXPECTING FOR THE AVAILABILITY IN THE US ANYTIME SOON, WHEN IT COMES, IT WILL COME. NOW, IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOU HAIR, BE PREPARED TO FLY TO JAPAN OR FUK YOURSELF.

Well, you can see for yourself when they release the trial result. Of course, dont expect 100% response rate, 70% response rate is already a gold. Even few injections per few years sound good too as compared to having to take a pill and rubbing some liquid on your head every day until you die.

Since Sisheido has the rights of RCH-01 in Asia. Could they release the product in some other and cheaper asian country long time before Europe and the US? Just a though...
If few injections = long-term maintenance, it is definitely WORTH it
