Respected Surgeons in Southern California?

It seems like all the favored surgeons here are in Canada or on the East Coast. Can anyone recommend one in Southern California? I'm 50 miles east of LA.

Thanks... I saw their work on "extreme makeover". Their website indicates some pretty amazing results. Considering their work and how close they are, would it be pointless to look into other facilities thousands of miles away?

(I know Dr. Seager in Canada offers travel expenses but to what extent I'm not sure..)

Of course, the only answer to what is BEST is Follicular Multiplication (FM) although it may not be the fastest and cheapest. After all, this is your head we're talking about...sheesh! Don't gamble it on STRIP, FUT or even FUE for that matter. Conserve your hair for gawd's sake, I wish they would have had FM when I needed it 8 years ago, but it wasn't established until after 2000.

Yes, I suppose if someone wants the shotgun approach and wants the "best bang for the buck", STRIP is the way to go...and will leave you with SCARRING you will be stuck with for the rest of your life.

I had STRIP 8 years ago. Scarring was so bad after multiple surgeries that I couldn't even get an hair transplant because I had depleted my donor area so bad. FM was the only solution that saved my sorry ***. Don't make the mistake I did, go FM if you want to be happy with your hair transplant for the long run.

i find dj guy a little more annoying myself. ..the fact he posts the same thing in every post even when it has nothing to do with a thread he posts in gives it away

Here's where I think everyone's beef primarily lies. While distant and reserved, posting onto a message board is a form of conversation. Everyone in here has distinct personalities and they contribute to the conversation in their own style of conversation.

Now think of a conversation in person where someone says the exact same thing, regardless of what the topic is.

Person 1:"I saw the movie Sideways yesterday and the writing was clever."

Person 2: "Oranges up the butt feel great and work wonders for your skin!"

It's great to get the information at first, but when it's repeated over and over and over, it begins to feel more and more like a sales pitch rather than some helpful advice. It's wonderful if you are available to answer a direct question related to your procedure and issues, but when someone hypes their process, above all others, in every topic, its become rude and impolite conversation.

Extremely well put even though I am the one that is being supposedly impolite. How many time do I need to say that I'm not promoting anyone any further and I havent for a couple of weeks now. I'm in here just like everyone else is. Im not pushing anything on anyone. I like your post, thanks for breaking it down like that. If anyone else has any complaint about me spamming or pushing any Dr. services then please show me where I have recently done this. Otherwise Blow-me.
