I know that, but .06mg? Really? I find that hard to believe that will have any effect. Do you cut the pill into 20 pieces or something? I always thought that .2-5mg were about the same, but I would never take the minimum just in case. I like following the recommended dosage of 1mg.

Also, in the dosage study that I posted below it says .05 inhibits more than .2. I wouldn't be surprised if that was a typo. It would make way more sense for the .05 to actually be .5. I truly believe someone made a mistake even though that sounds pretty ridiculous lol. I would take greater than .2mg just to be sure.

It's probably not a typo. Most likely 0.05 inhibited more than 0.20 due to statistical noise rather than actually being more powerful.

If I was still in finasteride I'd be on the minimum effective dose to reduce the odds of side effects.

If you mixed propecia in with water or alcohol by weighing it out, and then took the same normal 1mg pill it would dissolve and absorb slower in the whole pill form then if you drank the dose by alcohol or would it turn out the same? Propecia is not a time release drug or anything so its just absorbed instantly as it moves through the blood stream and hits the places with the highest concentration of 5 ar 2 like the prostate for instance?
