Retin-A : Tretinoin Cream

I was wondering if anyone out there has been using Retin-A as a supplement to their minoxidil growth regimen. I bought a tube of Tretinoin Cream: Retino-A 0.05%. Has anyone noticed a success with adding retin-A to their regimen? If so, how do you normally apply it to the scalp and how much? Also, do you wait for the minoxidil to fully dry then apply to the scalp?
