I don't use it in the summer to help avoid any possible sun damage - but I just ordered a generic tube from UP - should be arriving any day now.

I use it on my face and scalp maybe 2x weekly from November through May.

It was originally designed as a skin peel / cure (help) for acne. Then it was discovered to help reduce wrinkles. Then it was found to help increase the effectiveness of minoxidil.

It can be used for potential hair regrowth benefits either in conjunction w/ minoxidil or on its own.

Do you just buy this stuff and put it in your minoxidil, or is it a cream that you apply first, then add minoxidil? any good for wrinkles?

there's liquid retin-a that you can add to your minoxidil and there's a cream / lotion version that you can apply directly to your scalp.

It's basically a skin peel - so it'll help as much as anything else does (give or take) as far as wrinkles go. definetly good for zits though.

Cheers hair, think i may buy some liquid and add to my minoxidil bottle, be nice to get a little bit extra growth in the crown...

Just looked on the net and there seems to be a choice between cream or gel, but the cream comes at a higher dosage .5, while the gel is .1 - i don't see how you could add either to minoxidil without it being a liquid or a powder.

EDIT 2 Add - found the liquid, only seems to be available in America..

Just use it SEPARATELY from minoxidil. Notice the second item in my signature file! :)

As it happens i can't find the liquid, and i still have hair at the crown, it's just thin, so i don't want to put cream or gel there as it creates a real mess, easier on slick bald. If i can't just mix it in the minoxidil i may not bother as it's more effort, rather than just throwing some liquid into another liquid.

There are a few places on-line that sell minoxidil w/ retin-a pre-made and pre-mxed. Dr. Lee is one source.

You only need about 4 -5 small dabs to give your scalp a thin coat- even if you have diffuse thinning. A drop here, and there, and over there and then rubbing it in and around is possible - even if you're not slck bald.

I'd give the cream a shot.

If you don't like it - you an always use it for your face as needed.
