I have been using Xandrox 5 with very good results but so many have told me to buy the xandrox with Retin-A. What is retin-a and what does it do? Should I switch?

A Korean study showed that retin-a can make minoxidil work 15% better. I've been using Dr. Lee's 5% with retin-a and I haven't noticed much of a difference.
Retin-A has been shown to increase the effectiveness of minoxidil AND to grow hair by itself. I've written some posts on retinoids on my blog, you might find them useful:
No one really knows why retinoids increase hair growth, but perhaps it's not really that surprising, given how many benefits it has on the skin in general. I've certainly noticed a difference in my skin after starting using tretinoin.
