27 bucks flat at Amazon. My order has been placed!

They carry Revita?!?! I wonder how much they sell Spectral DNC for. Look what you did man, now their website is down from everybody flooding it trying to get Revita!!

Amazon don't actually sell it themselves a company called AMSG Enterprises is selling it via Amazon.

Yes okay I understand that now. This was only my second purchase from Amazon. The first, which UPS attempted to deliver today, was for Kirkland Signature Minoxidil, for my friend. 27.99, a very fair price, especially considering the shipping to Canada was only 10.54. (All U.S. dollars.)

OR SO I THOUGHT.

Freaking UPS charges me 22.70 Cdn C.O.D., a whopping 18.13 of that was for "brokerage fees". This isn't a customs and duties fee, it is teh fee UPS is charging me for filling out freaking paperwork. (And I'm sure it's all electronic now.) So I called up the shipper, and after a semi-lengthy conversation he agreed to refund me half that. I declined. I told him I wanted total satisfaction. And of course I called UPS to b**ch before that, but that got me nowhere. Then I called Amazon and the CSP was very cool, he said he agreed with me, he told me he would register my complaint, and then as an advocate for me echo those complaints. So UPS your f*****g gravy train is over!! And the CSP gave me a promotion of 18.13 (in U.S. dollars, whihc should help to defray whatever shipping charges I will be charged on whatever I have to order from their site) for anything I choose to buy from Amazon (ie./ not a shipper who goes through Amazon, like the companies selling Revita, minoxidil, etc.)

So I guess I will end up buying that book on yoga actually that someone recommended to me because well I gotta by something and it's not like I don't have to try something to help out my neck and back.

Moral of the story: DON'T USE UPS TO SHIP TO CANADA.

P.S. I was told by UPS that USPS (United States Postal Service) doesn't charge brokerage fees because it's government, and the place I ordered from AMSG Enterprises (who I spoke with to make sure they don't use UPS) said they don't use UPS, but rather USPS.

I'm also interested if anyone know's any UK based online stores have Revita in stock yet. Its actually interesting reading about what the different ingredients do to the scalp on the Revita website. I really hope this is all its hyped up to be (that being it create's the best possible conditions for growing new hairs and halting hairloss).

Officially placed my order from Amazon today. The price is $27, but after shipping comes to around $32.

Hopefully this stuff works as good as they say. At the very least, it's an improvement over Nizoral.

how long do you have to let it sit on your head for?

should you still use nizoral or no?

should you still use a copper peptide spray or no?

5-10 minutes, as it states on the Revita website.

should you still use nizoral or no?

If you want to, but that would seem like a ketoconazole overkill

should you still use a copper peptide spray or no?

If you want to, probably not even CP's in the shampoo where you wouldn't benefit more from the topical. Though Spectral DNC also has CP's in it so perhaps Revita 5x/week AND Spectral DNC every day is enough to not warrant a stand alone CP product. Only Bryan could give you a good answer on that.

I got a question b/c this stuff is so expensive im going to cycle it with somthing else.

What recommendation would ppl have?

Currently using tricomin and nizoral.

Should i drop nizoral cause this stuff has ketoz 1% and just use tricomin?
or should i drop both and use nano?

Fairtaxnow,

I've emailed orbit us superstore about revita. Their answer:

"Currently we do not carry the Revita shampoo line. Our product inventory changes every day, so please be sure to check back with us" I guess that because they store Spectral, they will store Revita. I can't see why not.

Their international shipping rate is the same as to the US, all you have to do is create a google checkout account.

As far as DHT blocking goes, do you guys think this shampoo could take the place of a topical DHT blocker like spironolactone? Or would it be best to use spironolactone AND this shampoo?

I'm curious, because I get sides from finasteride and spironolactone can be expensive and messy....

For you guys wondering about using Nizoral still, don't. The active ingredient (Ketoconazole) beneficial in Nizoral is in Revita as well. Plus, Revita doesn't have any of the lauryl sulfates that other shampoos (including Nizoral) have.

what do those sulfates do?

today i just did the pre wash method....i cant believe how long this revita will last if i do that....it lathers up SOOOO well with a pre wash. anyone recommend a good cheap shampoo to use as a pre wash without alot of chemicals in it?

tonite i used Nioxin because i have some left over...but that sh*t has way to much in it...i just dont know if that would effect my revita use.

I've seen recommendations to use Revita 4-5 days a week, how can this be when the 2% concentration of ketokonazole in other shampoos like Nizoral only should be used 1-3 times a week..?

:freaked:

I don’t think Revita has a 2% Ketoconazole concentration.
OTC Ketoconazole must be 1% or less (in the US).

I thought that too - then I saw an older note I'd sent out where I had copied the ingredients from their website. Turns out it was 2%.

Go figger.

Here are the ingredients..as posted elsewhere:
Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Coco-Glucoside, Caffeine, Ketoconazole, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Seed Extract, Aspalathus Linearis Leaf Extract (Roobios), Apple Polyphenol (Procyanidin B-1), Carnitine HCl, Ornitine HCl, Acetyl Cysteine, Dimethyl Sulfone (MSM), Taurine, Emu Oil, Biotin, Prezatide Copper Acetate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Spray Dried), Glycereth-7, Glycerin, Polyquaternium 10, Glycol Stearate, Menthyl Lactate (Menthol Derivative), EUK-134 (SOD Mimic/Spin Trap), PEG-150 Pentaerythrityl Tetrastearate, PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Menthol, Zinc PCA, Citric Acid, Sodium Chloride, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Mehtylisothiazolinone, Tetrasodium EDTA, Red 40, Blue 1

Keto is 1%..therefore everything below that is 1% or less. Right?

Not sure if Keto is 1% in Nizoral. I think it is less since you can use it 5x a week rather than once every 3 days.

The only % they list is caffeine at 4%.

It would seem as it you'd almost have a greater effect by simply brewing a concentration of rooibos and green/white tea mixture and simply soaking you head with that and dumping the shampoo on top of it vs. a 4% caffeine mixture and likely < 1% rooibos.

I mean we're analyzing this correcty right? If caffeine is listed at 4% that means that 4% of the 200ml of Revita is nothing but caffeine correct? Maybe I'm just reading into these percentages differently than what they mean. Though I have been thinking about the rooibos/white tea mix and just dumping that on my head before I soak with the shampoo. Maybe I'll do that on the NANO days.
