Hi guys,

Thought I should share this with you. I am new to revivogen and some peoples comments almost made me not wanna try the stuff!!

But, I am pleasently suprised as it does not smell bad atall, it actually smells quite nice. Also, the instructions say to massage into your scalp, especially if it runs. I do this and it leaves NO brown residue as previously mentioned....

Now I dont know if they have cured this due to public demand, but all I am saying is if you were thinking about trying this do not worry about the smell nor the colour rumors!

Please feel free to post comments if you agree/disagree..

Andrew,

I know Revivogen updated its forumula and is now using octyl and doctyl gallates, and less or no zinc. I imagine they have lessened the amount of fatty acids as the gallates were just as effective in whole cell assays against both isoenzymes that make DHT.

This is probably the reason you have noticed that it doesn't stink anymore or leave the residue. The older formula that was heavy on fatty acids, trust me my friend, did both.

Ive been thinking about trying a new bottle of revivogen myself and seeing if the cosmetic effects are more tolerable.

Does it still make your hair look greasy? It used to.

hello michael,

the thing is i was so used to having GREASEY hair to a high degree with kirkland minoxidil and i was tolerating that, although i hated the flakey white bits!

Now i use dr lees minoxidil which is absolutely fantastic, drys in minutes and does not leave white flakes on the scalp. So in combination with revivogen its great as they both dry fast.

As far as greasiness from Revivogen goes, I cant really say iv noticed to be honest. Overall since quitting kirkland minoxidil my hair has been wayy less greasey. There is no residue whatsoever that i can notice from revivogen and the smell is actually quite nice in a way, although the smell dissapears after it has dried. I apply it directly before bed and have not been washing my hair in the morning this week. I have been washing in the night when i get in.

hope this helps, the most important thing u shud note is the fact i dont feel i need to wash my hair as soon as i get up!! Before I bought revivogen i was almost put off from people saying it would look comical in the mornings.

disagree. it has a strong cheap perfume type smell.

the smell mostly goes away after an hour or so.

as for the residue, that would depend on:

- how much you use
- how much of it actually goes onto your scalp rather than in your hair.

well the dropper gets it to your scalp.

I suppose if sum1 had blond hair it might not look too great!

As for the smell, i think it is completely fine, no probs there. I use 2ml every day as 1-2ml is recommended

Interesting guys....

I'm now almost into month 3 of Revivogen. I agree the smell is fine! No problems there.

The first 1.5 months I've now concluded I didn't really put enough formula on... (like theres no real way of telling whether it actually gets to the scalp substaintially)

The last month I've put it abit more on than before.... At first I was heaps positive about Revivogen but now I'm not so sure....

I'm shedding like a crazy mofo, my crown feels very thin.... looks terrible in the mornings.... and kinda irritates my scalp slightly now im putting abit more on....

Basically i put it on before bed, wake up and shower cause my hair looks awful... especially at areas where applied...

Anyway mabye im skeptical and I should assume, like the email from them said that shedding is a positive sign that it is working.... I'll give it abit longer but basically I'll prolly continue the shampoo regardless....

1ml for crown and 1ml for temples is what i try to do....

PS - for a product that claims to solve hairloss, why does the money back guarentee only last for 3 months when they say it takes 60-90 days to see a reduction of hairloss!

Maybe because within 2 to 4 weeks of using Revivogen, you may experience increased hair shedding. So this maybe is a sing that the product works?

Hey, yeah I've decided to see Revivogen through to 6 months.... Depending on how I'm at there, I may add something else, like a growth stimulant... but hopefully it doesnt and propecia and revivogen can thicken up my mofo hairs.

I am using the big three right now and I am considering adding revivogen but I am still deciding so any input will be appreciated. I am using folligen as a fourth treatment but will drop it once I finish the bottle. Hence the decision....I will either do revivogen or tricomin after I'm done with folligen.
