Revivogen in the UK

Been using finasteride, minoxidil and nizoral for nearly 6 years now. Also used copper peptides and various other things from time to time. First 5 years were great - no regrowth - but maintenance. I seem to have noticed that I am shedding a little more lately and that the thin area on my crown is expanding somewhat.

I think I respond better to anti-androgens than minoxidil type regrowth agents and still have (albeit increasingly finer) hair on my crown. I am going to give Revivogen a shot (in addition to my current regimen) and had a couple of questions:

1. Where is the best place in the UK to buy Revivogen?

2. Is there any way to tell whether online stores are selling the most recent formula Revivogen?

3. Does Revivogen need to be stored in any special way? (I think I just ruined a bunch of Nanominox by not realising it needs to be stored in the fridge)

4. Anything else I should know?

I've seen a few specials for 3 bottles of scalp therapy for £65. This seems reasonable to me.

1.) http://www.revivogen.com or even http://www.gourmetstylewellness.com (not to sure if GourmetStyleWellness delivers to europe as well)
2.) I guess you won't do much wrong regarding the formula.
3.) Storing as any other treatment, fridge isn't necessary.
4.) As from what i've heard, the timeline on revivogen.com does not work for everybody. I guess you'd need to use it at least 6 months to see some results.

hope this helps

I have previously encountered problems getting treatments from overseas (seized by customs etc) and so was hoping to order from a supplier within the UK.

Hopefully there will be a UK Revivogenist who can give me the down low.

Hmmm......getting revivogen shipped to Burma must be something....does the shipping charges covers the cost to Hire "John Rambo", so the shipment is safe from the Burmese Pirates ???

Hey Def.

I've been buying Revivogen from http://www.tricotec.co.uk for the past 2 years and never had a problem with them. They are based in the UK and ship 1st class recorded. I'm in the North West near Liverpool. Delivery time is 2-3 working days from ordering.

Not sure what Revivogen formula it is but seems to work for me. Is there any way to tell?

Cheers.

Hello amsch.

I'm receding very heavily. I use Revivogen with minoxidil once a day - I use it in the evening before bed. I put minoxidil on my hairline and then wait 10 minutes and then apply Revivogen. I wash my hair in the morning before work.

Results - It has slowed my recession down considerably, but hasn't stopped it, its slooowly marching on. Its thickened my hair too, similar to when I was on finasteride. were you get the thickening of the hair root after a period of time if you are responding well, but Revivogen thickening isn't as intense as finasteride results. I haven't had any new hair growth, just maintenance.

I suppose its buying me a little time. If I stop using the combo for a week or so my recession speeds up noticeably. Because I'm using Revivogen once a day 3 bottles last me 5-6 months, so that works out about £10 a month, so it isn't too bad on the wallet.

So in summing up I wouldn't expect miracles off it, just maintenance and thickening.

Thanks for your report. Btw, i'm a bit confused. You say you have thickening, but your recession is going on?

Just thought I'd bump this with my initial impressions of Revivogen now that I have been using it for a week. I'm not sure which formula it is - hopefully it is the latest, new and improved one... It has Transferol delivery agent or something...

Obviously, it's far, far, far too early to speak about any results / effects, but I will address some of the issues people often comment on:

1. Application - no issues for me, it's a liquid, so I tend to dab it with my finger drop by drop to stop it running. As for the colour, it goes on my scalp a dark reddy-brown colour but then appears to turn more clear when spread around the scalp. I have a brown scalp anyway, so it's not really an issue for me either way...

2. Irritation - as yet, and it has only been a week, I've had no irritation from my Revivogen use. In fact, I find the slightly oily texture of it quite pleasant on my scalp.

3. Smell - very subjective, I know, but I don't mind the smell at all - at least upon application. It is definitely there but is kinda like the smell of cherries mixed with Play-do (go figure!!). In the mornings, however, when I wash it out in the shower. Gag city - something about that stuff sitting on your head for hours makes it smell much more funky and the shower steam just wafts it up into your face. It's cool though - I just hold my breath for the first minute of my shower!

4. Staining - as stated above, brown scalp so I don't notice any staining there. Nor, however, have I noticed any staining on my pillows yet. I do tend to let Revivogen dry fully before hitting the sack so that may be why.

5. Results / Effects - way too early to tell.

I plan to use this stuff for a good 6 months or more to see if it can't help thicken up my crown. As I stated above, have been on finasteride and minoxidil for coming up to 6 years now and whilst they have helped me maintain, things are starting to drop off a bit lately.

Although I am continuing to use Rogaine foam in the mornings with my quarter Proscar, if I do get any new positive results - I believe we should be able to attribute them to Revivogen.
