I've just began a 3 month regimen on the Revivogen shampoo, conditioner and scalp therapy on Nov. 10th. I purchased it from this site http://www.fabaocanada.com/Revivogen.htm

So far I've noticed a slight bit of shedding but if you review their company website it states you may experience shedding within the first 2-4 weeks. The only complaint I have so far is the scalp therapy does stain your scalp a bit but its not really noticeable.

I will post back in another 2 weeks with my progress.

It works a little within first 6 months. The trouble is that most of the products usually show that level of the effect. It can not be used in a day time because it is likely to be a kind of hair cream and so greasy. You should use it at night but your sweatheart might hate you in bed because it's some what stenchy.
The real problem is that even the effect of first 6 months dis appeared and never come back again in the end.

Now I started to look for a real one.

used revivogen for 10 months - hair continued to thin

so I stopped and

used propecia for 10 months - it seems to have stopped the thinning (plus regrowth)

guess which one I am still using!

the revivogen shampoo did smell really nice though.

Revivogen worked for me; it decreased my shedding and is slowly starting to thicken my hair overall especially when it was my primary anti-dht for 3 months. I did have a big massive shed about 2-3 weeks after I started, and according to the website, its emulating the same finasteride/dutasteride pattern and means that its working. Although technically it should be stronger than finasteride and dutasteride since it blocks both types of 5AR and the androgen receptor as well, nothing beats finasteride/dutasteride, since they systematicaly work to block 5ar. Although, if you can't use finasteride or dutasteride, revivogen is a very good alternative and if you're using them both like me, revivogen should compliment finasteride's 5ar II blocking in the scalp. In regards to reacting with each other , they shouldn't ; this is from the revivogen website: "Q. I am using Rogaine® and/or Propecia® and don't want to stop using them. Can I use Revivogen at the same time?
Yes. Revivogen is made of all natural ingredients that have no side effects and do not cross react with other medications including Rogaine® or Propecia®. You can safely opt to use Revivogen with other medications." Negatives are that it may be a bit espensive at 30$ a bottle , it has a very bad smell, stains like a b$tch, your hair stays greasy hours later (which is why people tend to apply it at night), bottles may leak ,and the dropper comes apart easy (which is why i use the rogaine dropper).
