guys according to the newsletter, we can get twice as much revivogen for the same price as before. I just placed my first order for Revivogen. The side effect thing from propecia is really getting me down. I hope I respond to revivogen so I can drop the propecia.

Hey

I just got my supply of revivogen. So has anyone had any "REAL" success with revivogen....regrowth? There's a lot of talk but no one seems to be talking much about any results.

Hey

gourmetstylewellness.com! I was reading the revivogen Q & A from this site. What do you make of their claim that sebrum DHT is the main culprit in miniturization?...not DHT from the blood. It seems that would mean that finestride wouldn't be that effective...which doesn't seem right at all! Any updates from your use?... :)

one month update

well its been a month, and i think its ok. no outrageous claims.
26 yrs old nizoral 2x a week, revivogen shampoo, and the revivogen.
shampoo: does make ur hair look thicker

had a breakout recently not sure if it was from the vitamins(which is a normal detoxification process since i havent been the healthiest person of all time :) or from the revivogen...quick little spurts of aloe vera fixed that up.
week 1 pretty bad flaking and some dermatitits
week 2 cleared up- more hair than normal falling at my desk at work(i use my desk at work as the benchmark)
week 3 and 4- i would say less hair is falling at my desk at work before i began treatment so that it is a good thing.
one thing that may skew the results is my haircut which is rather short, which may or may not influence the amount of shedding.
tricomin still hasnt arrived.
When i first registered for this site, i thought i was ok, and was catching this a little behind the curve, but after hearing some of the stories here, i guess i am feeling like a norwood 95! some of u guys are more concerned than u need to be imo. i am going to give revivogen a 5-6 month window while i debate propecia, instead of debating propecia with nothing be done in the process. The only thing i wish that someone would do is being a data person my belief is that certain treatments respond to certain patient profiles.
eg diffuse thinner vs a bald spot vs widows peak. I wish there was some classification because the inherent pattern may lead to varying treatments.

Now that Avodart is available and we have the best way to combat DHT (93% of supression, i guess), why should we lose our time with things like Revivogen? Just my opinion. Any comments?
Thanks

Here's another question for Revivogen users -

Just what is the recommended dose of the stuff?

I ordered what the company refer to as a 'three month supply', which consists of 3 bottles of 60fl oz liquid.

But to get through a bottle of 60fl oz in a month would necessitate two applications per day - confusing, as on the bottles it says "apply once daily"!

Personally I can only use it once at night coz of the grease factor. But is this enough? I am also taking Propecia (1 year) and Minoxidil once in the morning.

Cheers for your help.

In the Revivogen QA they don't specify "Sebrum DHT" (did you mean Sebum?) and differentiate it from "blood DHT" saying one is responsible and the other isn't. If I found the phrase you were looking at, it actually says:

"The problem in hair loss is not lack of regrowth, its the shortening of the anagen phase and miniaturization of the hair follicle due to DHT".

Nothing contradictory about that when it comes to current understanding of hair loss in general. The question comes in as to whether Revivogen can effectively stop hair loss by only directly interacting with scalp DHT. The answer can only be seen through personal trial since clinical trials have not been conducted.

How much to apply? Revivogen states in this same QA that some people may need to apply it twice a day to see results, so I guess that's for them :)

Revivo

gourmetstylewellness.com & other revivogen users!!! Question for you guys! How are the Revivogen applications going for you. I'm using it for the hairline, but it seems to leave an orange film that's hard to get off! Then after I shower it starts to peel up off my scalp. Have you noticed this? What do you do? Any other thoughts?....results?

gourmetstylewellness.com, I swear I read that comment about it only being DHT in the skin affecting follicles. It was on a Q&A page somewhere on gourmetstylewellness.com.com.

Thanks,
Joe

Joe_mama....

Some thoughts on Revivogen after a few weeks use:

1) In terms of application, I quite like it. It's a liquid which gets into the scalp nicely, even though I have diffuse thinning.

2) It leaves the hair looking very greasy. I apply once before bed and really need to wash the hair in the morning. Although after doing this I apply 5% minoxidil, so it works out ok.
I don't know how those who also apply Revivogen in the morning manage to maintain the cosmetic appearance of their hair during the day...hope I don't have to up the doseage.

3) Effectiveness? Too early to say, but as Propecia did nothing for me after a year I am pinning my hopes on it (I am still taking Propecia once at night).

Hey

gourmetstylewellness.com & others! Still hoping to hear from ya! Thanks Quartz. Have you had problems or issues with the orange residue from revivogen?

Joe_Mama....

No, have to say the stuff seems to absorb completely into my scalp and doesn't leave any kind of residue, although if i don't wash my hair the morning after using it it does flake a bit.

gourmetstylewellness.com - would also be interested to hear how your Revivogen use is going.
Did you manage to get round the problem of spacing applications with spironolactone? And any results at all?

Question for all Revivogen users! Does Revivogen have to be applyed to the entire top part of the scalp to ensure full DHT inhibition?
Are there any before/after pics from anyone that has used this stuff, other than the fake website photos??

TIA!!!

Revivogen success

This stuff has been around for a years and still we cannot get anybody to confirm on gourmetstylewellness.com that it worked for them or somebody they know??? Nobody seems to know anybody who has had success??? What is up with this??? Yes - Those website photos do not look believable.

I started using it a couple months ago and am skeptical. Anybody????? :?:

hotdillon:

Although Revivogen is only applied to the 'affected' areas, it does seem to permeate the rest of the scalp quite well, partly because it is very thin and liquidy (for want of a better phrase!). So even though I'll only whack it on the crown and temples, I then massage it around the rest of the scalp and it seems to get in there.

Jeffrey...there are plenty of testimony's over at HLH as to it's effectiveness. And there is science behind it, despite the lack of FDA trials.
If Propecia hasn't worked for you, I would say it's definitely worht a shot.
