Are the any negatives to trying to keep my long hair while using Rogaine Foam. Does the foam have to be applied directly to the scalp? or is it just as effective to just part the hair as much as possible and massage it in? I dont want to be applying this stuff unless I'm doing it the right way :dunno:

I'm on .5mg Propecia and Nizoral (2x a week). I'm trying to put the "Big 3" to work. I do plan on cutting my hair short eventually, but right now I'm covering my baldness with my long hair. I'd rather regrow a little before I go back to short hair. It's not overly long, but it's long enough to touch my ears. Is there a good way to apply it to this length of hair? Or should I just suck it up and cut my hair now?

I had shoulder-length hair, when I started Regaine (now it's shorter, because the hairline has got worse). It's quite okay, but you will get dandruff stuck in your hair and it gets more complicated to scratch your allergy. It's definitely easier with shorter hair, but I have managed for 8 months with my long hair.

Well if your on propecia already then you could have long hair. Its a bit of a headache but remember you need to get the rogaine on your scalp and not your hair.

Meh, just use the liquid and apply it directly to the scalp with the dropper. Worked for me and my hair is long.
