Rogaine foam,do I need to wash hair before every application

Do I need to wash my hair before every application of Rogaine Foam? I put it in 2 times a day, but only take 1 shower a day (sometimes don't take one that day). I am applying it well and currently only to my frontal hairline (crown isn't very bad)

Suggestions?

oh ya I am also using nizoral and finasteride.

A hydrated scalp (not a wet scalp!) helps absorbtion, but it's not necessary.
