hi guys,

i have been using rogaine liquid for 1 month on temples once a day at night and although it seems that it has already thickened my hair i feel like it s irritating my scalp and leaving a white residue everytime with redness in the temple area, which is annoying since i have eczema problems.

the reason i used liquid was that it seemed more effective from what i read, but if i can t stick with it i may just go with the foam once a night on temples

should i expect a horror story type shedding?

Not sure about switching from liquid to foam but I've been on the foam now for a few weeks and it hasn't effected my eczema at all. I used to have really bad dermatitis on my scalp and it seems fine even though I'm applying the minoxidil twice a day

Don't qoute me on this. But I think there is a study showing that foam has a slightly better effectiveness than liquid.

Put some aloe vera gel where you applied the minoxidil like 2 hours later if you're worried. Worked for me when I used minoxidil.

Also, you will likely shed, it could be bad or it could be not so bad. When I used minoxidil I shed nearly completely bald in the area I applied it.

the problem is those areas itch like crazy in the morning it s not a nice feeling although my priority is efficiency

Hmmm

I have been using it for 7 months. It's left me with a bald patch. :/ not sure what to do.

Yeah definitely some extra shedding, hair seems to be a bit thinner in certain parts as well but nothing that freaked me out or anything. Hopefully will start seeing results soon
