Rogaine Foam - Losing Hairs During Application

When I apply Rogaine Foam, I find about 15 to 20 hairs on my hands afterwards.

Is this normal (I realize it is normal to lose up to 150 hairs a day)?

Have you just started on your regime? I think in the first few weeks it's common to see that, aka shedding, but it will stop. At least that's my experience. I still have the patchy areas where the shedded hair has not regrown though, but it'll come im sure

No, this happens the first time I apply it every day.

I have been on Foam since it came out and on Propecia for 8 months.

I do not notice any change in the appearance of my hair as a result this daily shedding from the applications.

Any thoughts?

you might wana try liquid. at the risk of starting another liquid vs foam arguement- there is some evidence to suggest that liquid can be more effective than foam.

Huh?

I am still confused as to whether the Foam or Minoxidil of any type is causing it.

Does this happen to anyone else is what I am getting at?

Yea...it made me a bit nervous when I continued to see hair in my hands after applying the Rogaine. This will decrease with time, although I may still get an occasional hair or two after using Rogaine for 8 months. But hey, I have about 50% more hair now than I did 8 months ago - so who's counting!!!

I get hairs on my hand every morning form Foam also but I have had some very good regrowth.

Photos tell the story about what is really happening not a few hairs on your hand
