Rogaine foam - Month 7 - NOTHING!

I am using Rogaine foam, 2/day without pause and i am near the end of month 7. What i got till now is.... 0 results! My problem is especially on the vertex but my whole hairline is going down. I hoped the foam would to some little things to vertex area at least.

But...nothing. Not even a minor change. No vellus hair, no new hair, nothing. What i got is a few months of no shedding but during Month 6 i can see a little shedding too.

For about 3 weeks i begun to use Rogaine foam in the morning and liquid minoxidil in the evening but this also with 0 results.

What the hell should i do next? I mean if minoxidil doesn't help me...who in the world could do it, except hair transplant of course.

You need something like finasteride or dutasteride in addition to min to get results most of the time. You aren't unlucky here, just typical. Some people get very very lucky and get results on min alone...unfortunately you are not one of these people.

Hmmmm...i think i'll take my chances and never take this kind of pills. I don't wanna "play" with my hormones. There are tons of testimonials where people say clearly that finasteride or similar products just ruined their sex lives and the effects last for a long time even after they quit the treatment.

Your choice, just know that anything else is a lost cause until we get a better treatment.

You need a dht blocker. finasteride is the best but there are (less effective) topical alternatives. Try one of these to reverse or at least hold off the decline. I also assume you are using Nizoral.

Yes i am using Nizoral but no finasteride or other Dht blocker. But i am using only olive oil+honey+cinnamon and rub this paste on my head 1 hour before washing my hair. I also drink 1 spoon of olive oil daily. It's some kind of natural dht blocker external (applied on hair) and internal.

finasteride is safe and side effects are very rare. You can either start finasteride and have a 98% chance of having no sides and keeping your hair with a 2% of having a semi chode for 3 weeks or you can lose all your hair. You can also try RU.
