Rogaine Foam on a shaved/bald head?

I've never used Rogaine, but I'm considering it. One burning question I have is, can I completely shave my head and still apply the Rogaine Foam? Or does it need some hair to stick to?

Bonus question: If I don't shave my head, does the foam leave your hair sticky or greasy? (Do you have to leave it in all day?)

Bonus bonus question: And does it have an odor?

the foam doesnt leave your hair sticky or greasy like the liquid minoxidil does. it also does not have a smell. the can should say unscented. when first applying it does have an alcohol smell that goes away. as far as the shaved head part goes... idk

The potion must be rubbed against the scalp skin, not hair. The idea is for minoxidil to get absorbed into skin layer to reach hair follicles, not hair shaft. Always use liquid, not foam. Foam is more for cosmetic benefit to hair, and does not reach the hair follicle efficiently. You need to leave minoxidil on scalp for four hours before washing it. minoxidil does not have any odor, if anything in solution, it is nothing to worry about when on scalp.
