Rogaine for temple?

Hey guys,

I am new to this forum. I have some beginning of receding hairline and bought Rogaine and bought this product http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000Y8H3S/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.
I didn't know it's only for vertex and then I read the prospect when I received it and it says DO NOT USE FOR OTHER PARTS OF HEAD.

My question is - is it harmful to use it on temples or is it that it just doesn't work?

it's okay to use it all over your scalp. The reason it says that Rogaine will work on your vertex is because that's the only area they tested on their clinical trials I think. but I've heard a lot people have regrown hair on their temples while on Rogaine. It really depends. Good luck!
