I left Rogaine 5% minoxidil liquid in my (black) car from 4 to 9 o'clock on a hot day 85f. Do you guys think it could be less effective because of that?

Curious, but why was it in your car? Do you minoxidil on the way to work or something? lol

It's a good question, but I don't think anyone here is going to know the answer...I know I sure as hell don't.

I try to keep the bottle cool otherwise it melts too quickly when it comes time to apply (almost comes out of the can like a liquid), I noticed that once when it was in my pocket for a half hour...Best bet is to let it cool down to make sure it still comes out as a foam and not a liquid. My unscientific reasoning is that if the bottle is warm and the foam comes out more like a liquid, it will end up diluting the remaining contents of the can, so your last several applications may be "less" potent, or "more" potent depending on the difference in concentration of minoxidil that came out when the bottle was warm. (I think that makes sense- it does to me at least)

I bough it on my way home from work and forgot to take it home with my and I parked my car on the sun. Nope I don't apply Rogaine on the way to work lol.

I think I found the answer on the other web pages and nope it shouldn't affect effectiveness of Rogaine. It was only a few hours but when I touched the bottle it was quite warm.
