hey Guys,

is RU58841 now a viable option to try in combination with minoxidil instead of finasteride to avoid side effects?

I want to do all I can to avoid side effects and have tried to use natural supplements as long as possible. However when a friend of mine commented this weekend while I was coming out of the lake about how thin my hair is now, I realized its time to combat my hairloss more aggressively while I still have a relatively full head of hair when my hair is dry.

I guess the main reason I've avoided a minoxidil and RU combination specifically is the whole "losses effectiveness" argument so I thought I better wait till after 24 when my hairloss is more desperate if that is the case to save the potential effectiveness.

so just wondering is Ru58841 now considered a viable option instead of finasteride in combination with minoxidil? and how long could I expect the combination to be effective if I start now at 24? should be able to potentially buy time for CB right? is RU58841 a life long commitment?

RU + minoxi is effective.
isn't it?

I am not suggesting it isn't effective but I'd like to know if RU could now be considered a viable , side effect free, sub for finasteride in combo with minoxidil. With considerations of potential "loss effectiveness" beginning such a regime at age 24

RU and finasteride are not the same, finasteride prevents the body from creating DHT, RU simply prevents DHT from interacting with the follicles.
so far I haven't seen reports of sides due to RU, but it doesn't mean there aren't any.
I believe that finasteride overall is better than RU, but I cant use it cause I get sides. today I received my RU and made a weekly batch, will apply it in an hour or so.
I believe RU should be used in combo with minoxidil just like finasteride.

This is crazy talk. Are you saying that you have never tried finasteride and want to take a chemical that has little known about it instead of finasteride? Please tell me you're joking.

RU58841 is NOT CONSIDERED a viable option instead of Finasteride. RU58841 is for people who are desperate and will try anything. If you haven't tried finasteride, I would highly recommend you try that first. I would never put a chemical that wasn't tested into my body just to save my hair.

Are there studies backing up the efficacy of lipogaine? (honest question)

lol at trying something which potentially and likely has way more serious sides than finasteride in order to "avoid sides"

Try finasteride first. RU haven't been used or studied as much and it is a lot more risky. Avoid it if you can.

There are some people who used finasteride for more than 10 years without major problems while we don't really know the long term effects of RU.
