Anyone know about this holistic approach ... I remember reading in a Folk book (you know... all the old remedies) and it said to massage your fingernails (like rubbing them back and forth on the surface of a smooth table) to stimulate (I think) hair growth, it must stimulate the fingernails as well. But I think it was for hair growth.

anyone has links or otherwise to share with me?

AND MODS PLS dON TMOVE THIS TOPIC TO EXPEREIMENTAL SECTION AS OBVIOUSLY NO ONE GOES THERE TO POST!

Yeah it totally works man. People take all these drugs and put junk on their head because they are too lazy to rub their fingernails across a table a few times a day.

Dont mean to be a jerk, but dont believe everything you read in those Folk books.

Chewbaca,

its funny you post this. about two years ago i went to india and a family friend was our tour guide, taking us to all sorts of temples and sites. anyways we went to eat lunch at his sister's house in a small village outside of Delhi. his brother in-law is a professor there he was rubbing his fingernails together before we ate lunch. He said it helps to stimulate hair growth if you do it 5 minutes before breakfast and lunch and my mom laughed and told me about. I asked if it really worked and they all acted as if it was a totally normal and common practice. The man had a decent head of hair not a norwood 0 or anything but good. Just thought id post about this incident. i was actually thinking about this a few days ago. this is a completely true story..............

Yes...i forgot to mention..this holistic approach is originated from India...
IT was told to me by people in the Yoga community...

Well don quote me on this...i asked them how does it work (if it works) , they told me from a scientific point of view though not proven that it has something to do with the body blood supply...i tried it myself and found that after doing 5 min or so i felt more refreshed as if blood was flowing to my head...

yeah its pretty hard to believe people do things like this. but holistic practices are very common in the east. you know ricky williams is into holistic healing. but nobody respects ricky but me....
