S5 cream ?

Is this S5 cream truly a good alternative to finasteride ? My doctor seems very anti finasteride and will not prescribe it to me. I would like to do more than just accept my hair loss and this is looking promising. Any input would greatly be appreciated.

i dont know too much about s5 cream, although i have been using it for 3 months so i can tell you what my experience is with it.
Ive been applying it once a day every day. Just recently im discovering very very very tiny hairs growing on my temples. Nothing any one would ever notice unless they got up real close to my head. But still, its good to know that its doing something.

It certainly isnt equal in strength to finasteride, but im definitely convinced now that it does work to some degree.

well that is comforting on some level, does it get your hair all clumpy or sticky ?

After using S5 for about 6 months, twice daily, Recently noticed more tiny hairs at the temple. Overall, the hair at my temples looks fuller and thicker. Even my hairstylist said that the front of my temples looks fuller compared to my previous visit. But then, I am also been using Nizoral since a year ago (twice a week) and Tricomin since 6 months ago (once daily). So may not be conclusive whether it's solely the S5 that is causing the result.
