If this is true...

My question: What is the specific molecular target of Sm04554? What is its exact mechanism of action? For example, is it a Frizzled agonist, GSK-3beta inhibitor, what exactly?

On one of studies the higher dose yielded poorer results (0.25% vs 0.15%). Does that mean there isn't much more headroom for improved efficacy?

When does recruitment for second phase II (or phase III) begin?

Does hair grown by sm04554 only last as long as you are on treatment?

Im on the 10%-regrowth-is-better-than-nothing-wagon so...

Question - Is it certain that this product will be released or is there still a chance that it will never reach the market, yes or no? If yes, when? If no why?

People are not excited about this. If they're redoing phase 2 (highly likely) this thing is years and years away

I think also on top of that, people aren't excited because a possible 10% regrowth is nothing to throw a party about either.

Will there be 6-month results?

Do you expect results to be complementary or redundant to those obtained via combination therapy with minoxidil? with finasteride?

What is the expected cost?

What is the minimum performance needed to warrant commercialization?

1. What efficacy (I mean % regrowth) will they consider from their new phase 2 satisfying to move to phase 3 and then commercialize it.

2. Did they see hairline regrowth in phase 2?

3. commercialization timeline

4. side effects

5. Do they believe that they can achieve high % regrowth with their drug?

Yes I can. I have emails with the representative at Samumed and have spoken directly to the representative to try and arrange a date as to when this can happen. However, all questions must be submitted prior to any arrangements and they have reserved the right to decline answering any questions they choose - basically any in depth questions that may give away the science behind their approach. As of right now I am still waiting on admin to reach back out to me to follow through on this interview as I do not have the time to conduct it myself as well as the interview with Cassiopea.

Hey is threre any update on this? I think the biggest question if they can confirm that they are doing eat another phase 2 trial or if they'll be doing a phase 3 trial and when it will start. An update from these guys would be great.

1)
İf they are going to release this why would it be better than finasteride minoxidil or something else than what we already have or wiill (soon) come out?

2)will it be a one time treatment or multiple treatments?

3)just mantaining or real regrow?

4) us release or worldwide? İf worldwide simultaneously or after a long time?

5) what price range will it be?

6) possibility of combining this with other available treatments for better results?

Is stimulating a universal growth pathway such as WNT safe? How would a topically administered drug distinguish the growth and proliferation of cells associated with the hair follicle from those that are part of the surrounding tissue?

Given that the WNT pathway not initially discovered because of its important role in carcinogenesis, how is the potential threat of cancer being addressed? How may we know that a treatment we intend to take for a lifetime will not be carcinogenic?
