to respond to "Dammit," our friendship pretty much fizzled. That month alone I realized that he had issues, and I didn't need it.

Skyline you're a breath of fresh air. People have lives, careers, learn new things, and seriously do something constructive with their lives.

If everyone seriously grew a heart and a soul, and stopped being selfish and wasting thousands and worriying over LITTLE things in the big scheme of things such as freaking HAIR, and saw how much goes on in the real world, it would be short of a miracle.

It should be shameful that people are so caught up in this bullshit, and the most disturbing part is the chain-smoking part.

You're inhaling substances with 600 known harmful chemicals 40 times over each day, because you're losing some HAIR?!!?!

What kind of FREAK are you?

Not even movie stars or music stars or the most elite in hollywood, should be as f'ed up as you are over this, and yet you are.

weak dude.

this guy was a freak.

he kept wanting to get me hats ,even though I was totally fine with myself and my appearance.

I was like wow, wtf.

LESSON is this: Whenever someone develops a complex over something such as a hair problem, weight problem, ugliness problem, money problem, whatever the complex it is, some people MAY let it get to them and blow it way out of proportion and I'm sure they notice it alot more in others.

The lesson is, that attitude is a LOSER attitude, and those people should be avoided at all costs, or else they'll suck you into their way of thinking, which does NOTHING but make you a loser and give you stress.

I am 29 and fear clubs but sportbars are cool. I am always selfconscious but when I get there there are alot of balding guys and shaved heads and ti lightens me up. Its also darker and you can always wear a hat. Just force yourself to go out and don't put pressure on yourself about meeting chicks, just go to get out. Its hard as hell sometimes but I always feel better during and afterwards.
BTW, its easier to meet people if youare by yourself. Its less intimidating to others and you can chose to sit next to anyone you want to meet.

Do you think there is a connection between sports and baldness? or are these just regular guys ina bar?

Just regular guys in a bar...I don't think sports has an impact on hairloss. Just genes.

lol you should watch the movie "Idiocracy"... it's pretty funny.

In the future everyone has gone retarded and all the scientists combined their efforts on penis enlargement and hairloss.

   that's more or less how it's going.

everyone is so stupid and driving themselves insane with shallow bs. case in point - antonio.

I would rather go bald, shave it all off and look like that, and not waste any more money on drugs or hair transplants. Save that money for other things.

There are more than 70% of people in the world who dont even make 1/100th of what we vain "first world" people, spend on stupid things such as hair.

It's really pathetic.

DLMI - let it go dude. exercise or playing sport does not cause baldness. on that note i think the people in a sports bar would rarely be people who actually play sport.

antonio666 is obviously morbidly depressed.

i have been in his shoes because of hair loss as well and I know many of the posters on this board have too.

he is obsessing and dwelling and it appears that he obsesses to greater levels than a lot of people responding to this thread do.

you may know the amount of suffering, etc, that comes along with male pattern baldness, but not everyone reacts to it the same way ....... this guy is over there in pure hell and people are saying things such as "i can't stand people like you". i am sure that hearing stuff like that will really be effective at getting him out of his depression.

the thing is guys, what he is feeling is REAL and should not be taken lightly. ... he seems pretty dead to the world and obviously needs help...

our society is going to cause some people to react this way to male pattern baldness especially if they have an underlying anxiety disorder (which i am assuming he has).

it is not a matter of being "weak"...... It is highly probable that he would even act "stronger" and more "manly" in other adverse situations where the people criticizing him would react "weakly"

everyone is different and this site is about helping the people that it really hits hard.

if antonio is making helpless sounding threads in this hair loss forum,, then GOOD! he needs a fffucking outlet! if his threads upset you, then do not fffcuking read them!

I'm entitled to ask the question. I actually am hoping there's no connection but sports tend to give you an excess of Free T.

I don't really fequent sports bars so I wouldn't know...

Well said.

Nickie your first post was alright because you felt the need to be staight to the point and blunt, in your face reality so to speak. Sometimes ppl need to hear it like that rather than be molly coddled.

But the rest of your posts are just damn right abusive. First time fine, second, third, fourth etc are just abusive.

Leave the guy alone. And go spend your money on something else and go spend your time elsewhere, coz its only hairloss, right? Just go shave ur head and leave...

I agree with blushard. Losing hair at any age in your 20's is tough. These are a mans prime years sexually and in starting ones life. For the most part it prepares a man for the rest of his life to some extent and if youhave a bad start in both of those areas it can be devastating.
As many of the loudmouths have posted confidence is everything for a man. Without it life can be hell. If you have confidence sexually or in your career good for you. Some people weren't so lucky. If people want to vent let them. You don't have to reply.

I can see both sides of the equation tbh.
