I just wanted to give a heads up to anyone thinking about a transplant, and considering FUE in particular due to the option that you can still shave your head afterwards as a last resort.
I was at the airport and the guy in front of me in the security line had a shaved head. I was about two feet away from him, and I noticed these white dots scattered all across his donor region. Definite fue marks. The point is, FUT would definetly look worse, but because I knew what to look for, it look like moths had eaten little dot marks across his donor region.
Basically the point is that you always want to see transplant results in person. Photos, with various lighting and camera distortions, do not do justice to seeing all the details you need to see in person.
Had he grown his horshoe region out to a 2 or 3 perhaps it could be camoflauged better. But shaved it was quite noticeable if you knew what to look for. My brother, a Norwood 1 fullhead, did not notice anything, even after I pointed it out to him.
