What mg should I take? and when is the best time? side effects that are possible?

why do people add it to their regime?

Saw Palmetto is used in patients with enlarging prostates. Since DHT is directly related to prostate growth some people use the logic that if it helps decrease prostate growth it must also decrease DHT. There is not enough research to support either view.
