One of them didn't even recognize me. That was funny because I didn't recognize him either. He had gotten fat and grown a beard.

And another guy joked and said "I know he looks 90 but he is actually only 21. I know, it's hard to believe." I was extremely taken aback and called him out on it and made him apologize.

It was a really ****ed up "joke" I think and I really should have hit him back with something very personal. He has a white trash kind of family so I should have said something about that.

It's only fair, picking on him for something he can't control.

Yea . . . . . **** hanging out with young people. Not unless they are also ****ed up freaks like me who are often bald/balding.

When I first started losing my hair at age 16, I thought I was the only one going through hair loss at such a young age. I really thought I was the only one; though, I found out later that I'm not the only one and that there are others out there dealing with the same problem. Men that are bald/balding before they're even 21 is a lot more common that what's noticed. What I find strange though is that I actually haven't met anyone in real life that's dealing with the same situation at my age, especially that I have a very keen eye for detecting Androgenetic Alopecia.

It's offensive that the guy joked about you like that Exodus2011, I bet he's a NW1. Those with no hair loss tell us who do suffer from hair loss that hair isn't a big deal, and yet, they'll complain about some hair cut they're not too happy about. They'll never understand hair loss.

In other news, privileged men with hair make fun of men without hair.

Oh wait a minute....

I got told today by a girl that I had the hairline of her grandpa.

If you are not a mean spirited person, it is sometimes hard to think of responses to crap like this. Sometimes you just have to fight fire with fire and talk **** in return. I am sure she was no prize herself and you should have told her so.

trouble is as a bald guy you are helpless in defending yourself as nothing you could have said would hurt anywhere near as much as the nw1's insult. Even if you were taller, smarter or richer than these nw1s, they are always going to find pleasure in knowing they have one up on you in the hair department.

Supermarkets, nightclubs, gyms, resturants, pubs, workplace, hell, just walking down the street, this is just a taste, get used to it.

Thats why I stay home and play video games. Because people suck.
I really don't blame you. I get so much interaction with wacky people at work, I can't wait to go home and be alone. Unfortunately, depression and anxiety is at an all time high in society. And people like to bring you down with them. The more poor and uneducated they are, the worse they are to be around. Too many people today are opportunists. There are a few exceptions in this world but those people are hard to find. I really truly believe most people are better off single now a days. Marriage has become a joke. Most people don't realize a relationship takes a lot of energy and work to survive. When are people going to realize that nobody likes to be told what to do or likes to be criticized or judged. The last thing I would want in a relationship is another "mother".

The problem with most guys in this forum is they let women or other people have "power" over them and let them call all the "shots". Once you realize how to control your "power" and never let anyone take it away, you will finally realize what confidence is all about. Many of you mock Fred, but he is a great example of a person who knows how to control his "power".

If you would just step back and see how many people are real "train wrecks" in society, you will realize your life is not as bad as you think. TMZ is good example of how even celebrities are no exceptions to the rule. So, I am with UM, avoiding society sometimes is the best option. Unlike him, I like listening to audiobooks and try to learn how to survive in this world without having to self medicate myself like so many do. Don't get me wrong, I do like video games but at this point in my life, I just don't have the patience for them anymore.
