So i have a few of these throughout my scalp. 2 of which are in my thinning areas (middle crown, and side corner temple).

Anyone know what they are? I have oily skin/hair.

I don't know if Nizoral will help get rid of these bumps as maybe the bumps are due to sebum? Or maybe Nizoral is too harsh for my scalp and caused these bumps/inflamed them?

im using nizoral 2x a week.

and i only have 4 of these 'spots' verses a bunch of 'little red dots' as the author mentions so i 'think' they are different issues..

Sooo maybe I better tone down the use of Nizoral... Seeing as how I use it EVERY shower, about 5 nights a week...

Everyone's different...if you're not having an adverse reaction I wouldn't worry about it. I would only consider altering a routine if you are encountering problems.

Let us know what the derm says. I have inflammation bad enough from my male pattern baldness that I couldn't even use nizoral as it made my scalp feel like it was on fire shortly afterwards.

Could be irritation from nizoral. It's very minor either way and will disappear. I always use a condition after nizoral such as one with argan or coconut oil to hydrate the skin.
