I'm a female hairloss sufferer - and desperate to try anything out there. Saw a commercial for this product...and of course, it sounds too good to be true. Has anyone heard (and more importantly tried) the product Scalp Med? You can view their information at: http://www.scalpmed.com. I'd like to consider purchasing - but at $180 an order - would like to hear from someone other than those in the commercial.

Any feedback or guidance much appreciated!!

women respond better to 2% minoxidil than men respond to propecia combined with 5% minoxidil. It is $7 per month.

I don't have the media abilities to view the clip, but it sounds like a scam just listening to your post.

Scalp Med = minoxidil

According to the Scalp Med website, "The active ingredient in both of these products is minoxidil." (http://www.scalpmed.com/mens/faq.html)

They call it Vitadil 5 and Vitadil 2 apparently to refer to 5% (for men) and 2% (for women).

They charge several times the retail price of generic minoxidil, and their return policy is "less shipping and handling and applicable restocking fees." So, they probably profit even if you return the product.

They also claim the inactive ingredients offer some benefit, but their ads seem misleading so I doubt the product has any advantage at all.

A real cure would be great, but so far there are only two proven treatments, finasteride and minoxidil.
