Scalp Med

Saw an infomercial about this stuff called "Scalp Med". "Magically regrows hair" or something to that effect. I have no doubt that its junk. Just curious - anybody heard of it?

Yeah, it's basically minoxidil with a bunch of other crap. I've heard it works well actually, just way overpriced.

IMO, there are other better options which are far more effective like finasteride.

Their main claim to fame is that the product sits in the scalp better than other minoxidil formulations. But they provide no rationale for why this is. The only ingredient they mention on their website is minoxidil. You can get minoxidil dirt cheap in liquid form, or in what msot people here claim is a more convenient foam as Rogaine foam. Also, you can get Spectral DNC from DS Labs, which has claims to fame of its own (nanosphere encapsulation) not tom mention a whole host of other ingredients which they do tell you about on their website.

I have heard lots of good feedback from the new Rogaine foam. :wink:
