scalp zits

i noticed that ever since i've been thinning it seems like i get zits on my scalp. is it possible that the dht which is choking my hair follicles is also clogging my pores and causing these zits to occur. if so that means the finasteride ive been taking for the past 1.5 years isnt working.

You probably always got them but your thicker hair covered them up. I get them from time to time, I think its due to my motorcycle helmet pulling slightly on my hair and irritating hair roots a bit.
