Hi all

After your advise

I had an FUT procedure done approx 12 years ago at the age of 18. Started receding very young. I should of done a lot more research than I did and went and had the FUT done. It has left me with an untidy scar that I’ve attempted to cover with smp but that even failed. (Ink turned blue on final session)

Now I’ve narrowed it down to two choices

1. Scar revision- using Trichophytic closure to reduce the scarring and possible fue into scar.

2. FUE full transplant. Contacted 5-6 placing with consultations and the realistic ones have come back saying I’ll only got 50% coverage which they’ll start at frontal for density and work back possibly not all the way back to crown. Plus they can use my beard as donor.

Any advice is appreciated

If the hair on top is what we done on the original transplant, then an FUE might make sense. Don;t forget though that even an FUE can leave scarring.

On the two frontal sided the very thin patches was what was transplanted. Middle is original hair.

Thanks

Based on that I would not get another FUT, it looks like you only had your temples done? You don't mention taking finasteride, but that loss of your temples in a bad indication of any future procedure IMHO.
