Seeing a lot of tiny white hairs around the hair line.

Today while looking in the mirror I noticed something I haven't seen before, lots of tiny white small hairs around my hairline, forming a shape of what looks a lot like my hairline from my childhood (Can't upload pics). I don't know what to think. Could this potentially be the beginnings of regrowth, or is this something that I'm just now seeing but have always been there? Should I up my dosage of finasteride and and begin an aggressive regime or something?

I don't know, but it has been shown that male pattern baldness just "miniaturizes" hair follicles, it doesn't completely destroy them, so that's what you might be seeing. Or it might be regrowth. Are you taking finasteride or minoxidil?

Finasteride, 9 months in. I saw a few of them before but now there is a whole lot of them, I don't know if it's regrowth (i.e I should step up with my regimine), or if they are already dead hairs that will not come back.

Most likely further miniaturization.

We have all been there. Seeing little c unt hairs, and convincing ourselves it's regrowth.

Try to upload an image so we can somewhat give proper opinion about it. It could be regrowth.

If they are growing on what used to be completely bald spots, then its probably regrowth.
If it is regrowth, they should start turning darker and thicker.

I have these white hairs all over my entire forehead and I am a NW1,I am not too sure this necessarily indicates hair regrowth.

They either a) have been there all along b) are those damn hair line vellous hairs that NEVER F*CKING GROW or c) perhaps with a few cycles, on the right AA's they will become terminal... only time will tell.

I will tell you what though... despite the fact that finasteride just wrecked my hair, I did notice a lot of those initially, like 2-3 months in and got super pumped. It's so unusual how all this works. If finasteride was causing me to lose healthy terminal hair to be replaced with weak vellous hair, then how at the same time were other, already vellous hairs, being replaced with stronger hairs??? F*CKING male pattern baldness is like the rubix cube of the body.

I agree, it's really damn complex. I don't know if they were there before, but they're in spots that I haven't had hair in for like 5 years, so I've got no clue. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if they ever grow or they just disappear.
