Hi guys, maybe I'll start with a short introduction. I'm 21, and starting noticing some hairloss at 15. It wasn't very serious, but there was a slight receding of the temples. Things were relatively peaceful for about 3 years, but started to get heated up when I was 18 to 21. Things were particularly bad during the past 3 months as I went through a very bad emotional patch, when my hair really thinned significantly and my temple recession became quite obvious. Could it be Telogen Effluvium? In any case, I know my hairloss has not reached a very bad state yet, and I'll place myself at around Norwood 1.5. Anyway, here are some of my hair pics (and yes I coloured my hair).
Front view:

Notice that I have a lot of forehead, and my right temple seems particularly sparse and empty.
Top view:

A bit of thinning at the vertex? Some white scalp there.
Another top view:

Some white scalp towards the front too.
Left temple:

Right temple:

Although you cannot really tell from the pics, my right temple is very much worse than my left, and the hair there is really thin and wispy. You can actually see my 'old' hairline from the outline of the white of the scalp around my temples.
Before I start getting comments like, "WHAT, you call that hairloss!?", yes I agree my hairloss is not very serious yet, but I know for a certainty that it has started and my hair is definitely much thinner than before.
I am currently using Tricomin, Nizoral and Alpecin C1, and they have definitely stopped my bad scalp itch and somewhat reduced my shedding. However, I do not know whether my current state warrants the use of finasteride or minoxidil. I am particularly concerned with the induced shedding and potential acne breakout (I've acne-prone skin which I managed to clear up after 3 years of struggle). However, I also hear that you should start finasteride early while you still have some hair, so that you can keep what you've now. I'm hoping to regrow some of my temple hair, although I know it's very very hard. So what do you recommend I do? Go for both finasteride and minoxidil, just one of them, or none? How effective is spironolactone for hairline maintenance without using in conjunction with finasteride? Any supplements you recommend I try?
Thanks a lot for all your opinions and advice. Man, it really sucks to have both bad skin and bad hair.
